Hey there, I'm Han.

I'm a developer, designer, marketer, writer, community builder, consultant, researcher, founder, ex-CEO, and everything in between. I spent most of my adult professional career in the blockchain space, but that really doesn't tell the full story. I've spent considerable amounts of time in fields related to data science, cybersecurity, AI, and pretty much everything in between.

You're probably already thinking: "This dude just dumped a list of all the buzzwords from the last decade. He can't be serious! 😂"

While I am fully aware of my buzzword cocktail, I can't deny the amount of mental wrestling I endured, only to ultimately choose to move on and write it as it is.

Having reviewed thousands of resumes and job applications over the years, I've developed a healthy dose of skepticism for applications that seemed too broad. With that in mind, I wanted to approach my own intro with a critical eye – and a commitment to authenticity*.

Serially Confused, But Learning to Embrace It

Sometimes I question my own sanity and mental well-being, because frankly, I don't even know what to call myself or where my true passions lie within. One thing that's for certain is that I'm a serial builder, but more importantly, I'm a serial learner.

I have never stopped being curious, and while I admit that it is both a blessing and a curse, I wouldn't have it any other way. You can call it being neurodivergent, having severe ADHD, an industry hopper, or whatever your heart desires.

I'll take them all as compliments, because I am fully confident in my ability to inspire and direct teams, I enjoy taking on new initiatives and tackling challenging problems that most are reluctant to touch.

The Great Forking Debate: The Ultimate Aphrodisiac

In the past decade, I've spent more time browsing random projects and code on GitHub, Etherscan, CodePen, and ProductHunt than I have on Facebook and Instagram. And hell yeah, I fork. How else do you expect me to get down and dirty as I feed my curiosity?

I have started more passion projects and side quests that have either failed or fallen into the abyss than I'd like to admit -- and that is completely fine with me, because they were never meant to be successful. Experimenting and tinkering with cool new shit was always the mission.

On a more serious note, I am a strong supporter of open source projects. Without FOSS initatives the internet would not exist as we know it today. Unfortunately the open source model is under attack and may not be a viable option in a few years. A topic for a different time.

You're looking at a prime example, right this moment. This portfolio... is not really a portfolio by today's definitions and standards.

This "portfolio" is a living document.

I can talk about my working style, my strengths and weaknesses, etc., on and on. I can provide you a bullet point list of hundreds of various projects and experiences, but let's be honest, you're not going to be too pleased having to sift through the mountains of data.

Let's be smarter about this.

But I won't bore you with all that.

Work Experience, Passion Projects, Research

Without the existence of archive.org, no one would believe it when I say "I began building on the web at the age of 9 in 2003."

But truth be told, I tend to enter industries or commit to projects that really excite me. I'm a serial builder, but more importantly, I have a never-ending urge -- a primal instinct -- to always remain curious. You can call it being neurodivergent, having severe ADHD, an industry hopper, or whatever your heart desires -- I'll take them all as compliments.'

Sometimes I myself forget what I've done and what industry I'm "really" in. So much so that I built this portfolio [^1]
